Overview:
Add more fields are patterns that allow users to fill in, edit and delete simple and complex forms. These patterns included the steps a user would take through a form while filling out data.
Patterns use static components to complete a task or process, aiming to solve common problems and aiding the user in completing a task with multiple stages.
The Problem:
The Axure design system file didn't include the updated 'Add more fields' patterns to allow users to enter single and multiple data types.
My Task:
I was tasked with updating the Axure library with both single and multiple 'Add More Fields' patterns, allowing users to enter simple and complex data types into a form.
Add More Fields - Single Interaction
This pattern allows users to add and delete a simple single data field multiple times - for example a tenants name.
Add More Fields - Multiple Interaction
This pattern allows users to add multiple complex fields to a form such as name and address, this information is then displayed at the end in a summary list. The summary list is available to be edited and if needed deleted.
